VERIFICATIONS

All verifications are pre-booked with the SETA and submitted in a batch. Our average planned verification of 6 weeks might be delayed due to the impact of the CORONA virus on our staff and the SETA available verifiers at the time.

The process that will be followed for each verification:

STEP1	Cut-off date where all competent learners’ files are prepared for SETA verification in an electronic format and arranged by unit standard.	All files received and found competent on this date will be processed in this batch.
STEP2	Final Assessment reports is created for each learner’s submission including 50% internal moderation.	This process can take anything from 3 to 7 working days.
STEP3	Learners profiles are created and enrolled on the SETA online system.
STEP4	Verification is submitted as a BATCH to the ETDP SETA.
STEP5	SETA verifier is scheduled for the next available date to review all the files.	Process only starting when a Verifier becomes available and last normally +-2 days.
SETP6	Verification is endorsed.	Learner SOR (Statement of Results) is created and issued +- 4 working days later.
STEP7	SOR statements is imported and notifications send to learners through SMS and email. Learners will be able to download their SOR immediately once payment was confirmed.	Entire process takes between 6 to 12 hours.

NOTE that feedback dates is estimated and totally depended on the availability of verifiers.
